Jonathan brings over 18 years of experience handling accident and injury cases to our legal team. He has handled numerous trials to verdict. Jonathan is a superb litigator. He is a true warrior for justice and is deeply committed to his clients. He grew up around the law and medicine as the son of an attorney and nurse.
A highly skilled adversary in all aspects of litigation, Jonathan is well versed in discovery, depositions, and the cultivation of key experts which he leverages to obtain excellent outcomes for clients who have been seriously injured. What sets him apart is he’s worked on both sides of cases. As a former defense attorney, he harnesses such knowledge to outlitigate his opponents and maximize his clients’ compensation.
Jonathan’s recent case results include $1.5 million for two teenagers injured in accident caused by an inexperienced driver, $750,000 for a bicyclist struck in a bike lane by a city employee, and $500,000 for a woman who fell sustaining an ankle fracture on a dangerous staircase.
Having successfully represented clients in hundreds of mediations, Jonathan has negotiated substantial settlements on their behalf. He has a reputation for being a thorough, tough and assertive litigator, which he utilizes to garner favorable results for his clients. Prior to joining our team, he worked at a well-known Bay Area personal injury firm where he recovered over $7 million for his clients.
Jonathan has extensive experience handling traumatic brain injury cases arising from accidents. He has spent his entire career handling serious injury cases arising from car accidents, rideshare collisions, truck crashes, bicycle accidents, pedestrian injuries, construction site incidents, aviation accidents, and claims involving defective products. He also has experience running his own personal injury law firm. Jonathan has handled cases throughout California in both state and federal courts.
Jonathan received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University. He received his law degree in 2007 from the University of San Francisco School of Law. He lives in the East Bay with his wife and son.
Jonathan serves as a board member and volunteer attorney with the Coalition of Concerned Legal Professionals (CCLP) and is a high school mentor with the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Law Academy.
Jonathan is an avid cyclist who cycles throughout the Bay Area. He’s a strong advocate for bicyclists injured in accidents. Jonathan firmly believes bicycles are the future of urban transportation and commuting for urban citizens. He believes that drivers need to be better educated, and cities need to create safer spaces for bicycle commuters.
