Auto & Truck Accident Case Results

He was hospitalized for 4 days.  A future surgery to remove the surgical hardware in his clavicle was claimed in his case.
• The Hassell Law Group secures $900,000 result for two adult family members whose elderly father was killed in a car accident caused by a semi-truck.
• The Hassell Law Group gets a $722,500 result for parents whose son was an un-seat belted passenger who was in a car that was hit by a drunk driver in San Mateo County. The son died in the accident. The defense claimed that the lack of a seatbelt caused the son’s death, not the accident which they claimed he would have survived if he was seat belted.
• The Hassell Law Group secures a $707,000 result for a San Francisco surgeon who injured his neck in a rear-end collision in San Francisco. The client’s neck injury was non-surgical.
• The Hassell Law Group secures a $705,000 result for surviving child in solo vehicle rollover collision/dangerous roadway condition case, despite a police report that was against the client. The client was intoxicated at the time of the accident and traveling at high speed according to witnesses. The client died in the accident but left a child behind who survived the accident.

• The Hassell Law Group obtains a $500,000 result for a bicyclist injured by a motorist on Grizzly Peak. The car driver denied responsibility for the accident. There were no witnesses to the accident. The bicyclist was helmeted but sustained a head injury, wrist fractures, fractured fingers, cuts on both hands, a fractured tooth, and a fractured left elbow. No surgeries were required.
• The Hassell Law Group secures $290,000 result for a client in his 60’s in Santa Cruz who went over his handlebars when a parking lot attendant accidentally lowered a gate arm in front of the bicyclist, causing him to slam on his brakes.  The client sustained a radial head fracture in his elbow on his non-dominant arm that required surgery.  The client’s medical bills were around $35,000.
