Roswald earned his law degree (J.D.) from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in May 2021. He recently passed the California Bar Exam, and is admitted to practice law in California.
Roswald first joined our firm as a summer intern during law school in the summer of 2019. He rejoined the firm in August 2021, after taking the Bar exam.
Roswald is fluent in Spanish, and regularly uses this skill in our practice. He is also fluent in French.
During law school, Roswald gained valuable experience working in the legal field. Roswald served as a Judicial Extern for Judge Nathaniel Cousins at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California in San Jose. He also served as a Summer Trial Advocacy Fellow for The San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and gained further experience working on personal injury cases.
While in law school, Roswald was awarded the Justice Raymond L. Sullivan Scholarship and a Dean’s Scholarship. He won the CALI Excellence Award for his outstanding performance in his law school Negotiations class. He also received a leadership award for his community involvement activities.
Prior to law school, Roswald served for one year as an Assistant Deputy Clerk for California’s 2nd District Court of Appeal in Los Angeles.
Roswald did his undergraduate work at Union College in New York, where he earned dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and French.
Roswald is a member of The Mexican American Bar Association.
In his spare time, Roswald enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and watching French series and films.
